Zeiss model 1 planetarium.

The FreeGo2 team achieved the restoration project: Restoration Zeiss Planetarium Den Haag. This Planetarium (build in 1924) is together with his twin brother (Munchen) the first planetarium in the world.

In the seventies, the planetarium building became destroyed by fire. The Zeiss planetarium projector also damaged. It was cleaned and put

The Zeiss planetarium is now partial equipped with small LED technique. The planetarium movement is controlled by a FreeGo2 Lite module.

We could not bring it back in the original state, because parts, for instance, special desigend bulbs are not more available.

The FreeGo 2 team took up the gauntlet, and after one year hard working, the Zeiss planetarium is ready for the 21 century.

Together with Software ( FreeGo2 & Stellarium) this magnificent instrument is becoming alive again.

After being in a cellar for a long time, the Zeiss planetarium, equipped with modern technology, is entering a second youth.
